Far East (Melaka) Sdn Bhd
(“Far East Melaka”)

is entrusted by the State of Melaka under the Melaka Waterfront Economic Zone (M- WEZ) to spearhead the development of International Multipurpose Deepsea Port and Cruise Terminal in Melaka.

Far East Melaka shared a common shareholder as Linbaq Holding Sdn Bhd (“Linbaq”), whose primary businesses includes Property Development and Construction, supplemented by Solutions and Trading Arm. Linbaq has multiple developments in Iskandar Malaysia with a total Gross Development Value (“GDV”) of RM3.4 billion.

Far East Melaka is also shared a common shareholder with Far East Marine Sdn Bhd which involve in services covering port related activities, maritime ancillary services and marine maintenance & repair as well as management including MRO activities.

Far East Bunkering Services (Melaka) Sdn Bhd is another company with a common shareholder as Far East Melaka. The company has been appointed as the operator and manager of special anchorage area known as Melaka Bunkering Port, within Port Limits of Malacca Port. It is being positioned as “off-shore bunkering station” for vessels passing through Straits of Malacca similar to other major bunkering port in the world e.g. Singapore, Gibraltar, Fujairah, and Rotterdam. This mode of operation will be the first of its kind in Malaysia.

The shareholder of Far East Melaka is also the single largest shareholder of Milux Corporation Berhad, a public listed company which offers a wide variety of gas, kitchen and electrical appliances.
